I love a nice, niche little mobile game that scratches all the right itches for short or long bursts. Bricks Breaker RPG delivers on that aspect and much more. At its core, this is a timeless classic that a lot of us first experienced on our old BlackBerry, but you’re doing more than just breaking bricks. From navigating clever stage layouts, determining how best to use magic skills and items, figuring out the best equipment perks, trying new builds, managing items, farming materials and gold. It gives every run a much deeper meaning and something to strive for. I didn’t see a single ad while playing for free, but I still bought ad removal just to get the optional bonuses and support the developer, of course. All in all, great game, unobtrusive monetization, a ton of fun, and super addictive!
ill start off by saying im only level 31 and im on dark forest lvl 21 and im only writing a review because the game keeps asking me to, i personally dont think ive spent enough time to make a proper review but at the same time if it keeps asking maybe this is all the game has to offer as of right now? it feels very repetitive like any other brick breaker. when i think of an RPG i think of traps, and systems at hand that can make each play through a little different than the last. things that never change is all the balls going down the same path. dud shot = all balls wasted, perfect shot = all balls hit something or the same thing. but there is no inbetween. why not add erosion to unbreakable blocks so if x balls hit it then the rest change change to a new direction. or a trap that once hit activates a wind trap and hit again turns it off, or the walls become slimy causing the ball to stick and slide x distance before bouncing off. these are just ideas, but as of right now the game feels like any other brick breaker. i do appreciate how ads are handled and that having ads around is a choice and support goes both ways. i like the upgrades so far too, and the game is fun, difficulty is definitely there! amazing game and looking forward to what comes in future updates! currently rocking: 2 magic explosive orb , 1 magic sharp orb, a standard ready orb and standard luck orb. loving the combo but poison was definitely a fun one as well
This is my first time ever writing a review on the app store. I am just so happy to find an app that is truly free and respects the user's time. This is similar to many of the games on the app store where you equip multiple items and can increase rarity but puts a spin on it where the main progression and gameplay loop is a brick breaking game. The exceptional piece here is that you are not bombarded by ads and can choose to watch them for certain rewards and time skips. The gameplay is very addicting and I can see myself playing this for a long time to come. If I had to give one gripe, it would be that the shot seemingly lines up to where it believes you need to shoot next but sometimes this is finicky and results in alignment that is a detriment to my intended shot. This could be by design and I am still able to pass levels so it isn't a big deal. Hopefully this game continues to get support and I will most definitely contribute some money when I am able. Thank you to the developer for setting an example for how to make a free to play app!
