I love this! it’s so fun and a LITTLE annoying to set up. let me just say this once you create your profile tap on your profile picture thing, enter the passcode, and it will let you connect. The updating takes a while, but it’s worth it. sometimes it interrupts you and it’s kind of annoying and sometimes it doesn’t understand what you’re saying, but I get it it’s normal AI things😂
The instructions mention to download the app and add the device to set it up; well the app doesn’t give me the option to do that. I’ve been waiting for 2 days to see if the app gets an update that fixes the issue since the Support Team posted on the site that there was a service outage due to a surge of activity on the server. This morning the developers sent a message stating that everything was back to normal, but that’s not the case. If signed out/in to the app and restarted the crystal ball and I still can’t add a device. I’m going to give the developers 1 more week to fix the issue, if not then I’ll unfortunately have to return this item. Which is sad because it’s one of the Christmas gifts my son was looking forward to the most. App Version 1.1.1 - Build 154
The app provides no way to add or pair a device, which completely blocks setup and makes the product unusable. I purchased the Imagix ball and the device itself powers on and verbally instructs me to “go to the app and add device.” Unfortunately, the iOS app has no Add Device or Wi-Fi setup option anywhere. The Devices tab is read-only (“No results”) and the Profiles menu only shows “My Account” and “Back to Lobby.” There is no pairing or onboarding flow exposed in the app at all. I reset the device, reinstalled the app, and followed all instructions, but the app never enters device discovery. This appears to be an app side UI or pairing flow failure, not user error. As a result, a $200 product sold at major retailers cannot be set up. Until the app provides a clear and functional way to add a device, the product is unusable.
