Black Hole Buffet

I started playing this game after giving up on other black hole games. I loved it because it was DIFFERENT. It gave more opportunities to win a decent amount of coins. Because at the root of it, COINS matter. And it's reasonable to expect that you will have to spend money to buy a package of coins and boosts… But the game also helped you win enough coins through clearing the board and winning chests so that the package you bought lasted longer. The problem with other black hole games is that they're there to bleed you try quickly so that you keep spending ridiculous money. This game used to be different. But now with each update the coins are less available… They're still there but your ability to gather a lot of them is being slowly taken away. It's like you've been drawn in and you get hooked and then they slowly change it thinking you won't notice. Right now they seem to want you to gather a lot of "gems"… But you can't do anything with them. You can't use them for anything. I'd rather be earning coins now because that's what buys things.

UPDATE: At first, I really enjoyed this game. But now I feel that I have been ripped off. Even upon attempting to update my review, it glitched and kicked me out thus deleting everything new that I added to my review about the issues I am having. It constantly kicks me out, saying that there is a network connection error, and shorts me of the rewards that I earned. Then it began sticking on the same level for FIVE attempts of clearing the same level and kept the time clock running down, even though I had cleared the entire board of items. It would just not progress. And NOW, for the last two days, I have been unable to even get the app to completely open as it will stick on the last status bar at 80%. Of course this was after I had purchased the “Treasure Pass”. I am going to contact Apple customer service and see if I can get the charges disputed/refunded and then just delete this game/app altogether and say forget it. I have attempted to do all the troubleshooting to fix this problem. My iPad is up-to-date on all of the current updates. I have also tried turning the iPad off and then back on … which does not fix the problem nor allow me to get the app to open. I am afraid to delete the app off my iPad and then reinstall it because I don’t want to lose all the rewards that I have earned/purchased. For the most part, I enjoy this game but I notice that there are times where it is very glitchy & kicks you out of the game. This usually mainly happens after you have completed a level & shorts you out of your rewards… or makes you start all over again. Very frustrating. This happens on the phone as well as my iPad. I enjoy the game but I am 2 seconds away from walking away from the game, deleting the app & not coming back because it’s becoming a bit aggravating & super annoying.

I’ve played a ton of phone games, if you like this style of game it has clean mechanics with only very minor glitches. I know games aren’t free to make but after the first initial so many games there is an add after every level, I get it but after every level seems excessive to me. Also I’d like to see a game mode where it’s like “zen” and no time limit and maybe a lot more things to collect, something like that would be cool. They really thought of a lot in making this game, you can join a team and send each other lives. If you like this style of game you’ll love this game!
