I run into multiple little issues with this app. The most common being my drafted message/post vanishes if I just touch another part of the screen (like scrolling up to review what someone said in a message or thread). Poof, it just gets wiped out or partially wiped out and I have to do it all again. I also wish I could add more people to a group chat once it’s been created, but it seems you just have to make an entirely new group chat to add more people. Obviously not ideal or convenient — no one wants to be in a bunch of different versions of the same group chat, and it’s not easy to remember every person in the prior version when recreating it either. It becomes a whole task and clutters inboxes. I end up just keeping the gc the same and trying to remember new individuals so I can message them directly, which is of course redundant and not fail-proof. Other issue is sometimes the area to type in is non-functioning and I have to back out of the thread and re-enter it. I think this happens when I tap a comment notification from my iPhone “notification center” and am led directly to the thread. If I open the app and navigate myself to the thread instead, I haven’t seen that issue in that case. It would be cool if you could post a poll, and an event. Having my city/chapter be the equivalent of a massive group chat, is a lot to sort through and a lot of text to look at and make sense of. If there were a place to just see events people create so I can simply join other women on their informal, group skates (similar to how the BFF app if/the formerly known Geneva app) it’d be easier to get together. Being able to create different types of posts (e.g. events, polls, text) creates a much smoother and easy-to-traverse system, promoting more use of the app and more skate gatherings. (: All of that said, very glad this app exists and thankful to have access to so many fellow women interested in skateboarding, and I hope the app progresses and sticks around.

The app is easy to use and gives me the connection I have been longing for since I do not have a swirl chapter in my hometown. I love that I can see where others are in the world, join events, and learn through tutorials! I’m so grateful for this app!!
