Pathbuilder 2e

I’m interested in Pathfinder 2e and was hoping this app would help me learn more about the game and create characters. Unfortunately, the character creation screen does not appear to work with VoiceOver. When I select the option to create a new character, VoiceOver only detects what seems to be a screenshot or image, with no accessible controls or choices. Activating it simply takes me back to the main screen. I would really like to use Pathbuilder, but at the moment I cannot access its main feature. Please consider adding proper VoiceOver support, including labeled buttons, accessible selection menus, headings, and clear announcements for selected options. Better screen-reader accessibility would allow more blind and visually impaired Pathfinder players to use the app, which could also lead to more downloads and purchases. I hope accessibility can become a priority in a future update.

I have been using pathbuilder for years now on the pc. However, since I’m part of the iOS sheeple, I haven’t been able to enjoy the device app. Let me tell you, I was exile rates to just find out from a Reddit post that this was now an iOS app. I immediately downloaded, verified it was the same, and then purchased the full version. There is a free and purchased version. Now if your just starting out or are still new to pathfinder then the free version is going to suit you wonderfully. You will have access to everything you need to run your first adventures without a problem. In fact, when you print these out, you will have all the information you need explained and available. No additional spell cards needed. With the paid, yes you get everything. If your a character goblin like me, then you’ll make plenty of use with a million characters you’ll never use. The app gives you explanations, references, and the freedom to really dive into the character building without having to scrounge the internet for all the details. I’ll be honest, I tried doing this myself once and quickly got overwhelmed. So I’m comfortable giving a one time payment for the iOS app, because I chipped at the Iceberg of what this is and was overwhelmed. I highly recommend.

I am a slightly obsessive character builder, I build more characters than I will ever get a chance to actually play. I cannot imagine building so many character without Pathbuilder. It’s an incredible tool. Also crazy useful for mapping out level-appropriate abilities to put on custom NPC’s. It’s got free archetype, automatic bonus progression, pre-master “legacy” rules and spells, it’s pretty comprehensive. Definitely pay the $7 in app, you get google drive cloud saves and the developer gets to eat!
