I’ve been using Packet Hunter for a bit and it’s actually helped me learn a lot about networking and packet analysis. Instead of just reading about concepts, you work through terminal-style labs and analyze packets to solve problems, which makes it way easier to understand how things actually work. The challenges can be tough sometimes, but that’s part of what makes it satisfying when you figure them out. It really feels like you’re learning real skills while playing. Definitely recommend it if you’re interested in cybersecurity or want a fun way to learn more about networking.
This would be my favorite app to ever release on the app store if it didn’t have so many bugs. This game teaches important IT skills however the state of the app currently is incredibly buggy and it makes it so frustrating to play. frequently i will get the right solution yet it will not allow me to continue. forcing me to restart the app and magically it will then allow me to continue. this had be banging my head into a wall on multiple occasions trying to figure out what i’m missing when it was the fault of the app and not my own logic. i love this app but please please please fix the bugs in relation to verifying if a user has successfully fulfilled the requirements. additionally i have reason to believe this game is heavily unoptimized due to it causing my phone to heat up past a normal point. this game is not graphically intensive therefore it should not be maxing out a iphone 15 pro cpu. please investigate into further optimization and verifying if a level has been completed
I thought this game was telling me that I actually had an IP conflict. I was about to go into my firewall and see what the heck was going on. After a few seconds of confusion, I realized that the point of this game was to fix those issues and had a good laugh after that. Thank you for making my morning!
