This app is wild first if I get an order it’s 20$ to cross the bridge to go to Jersey I’m not doing that, with tolls you barely made anything then not to mention gas then if you don’t go through the tolls you’ll never make the pickup or delivery on time, then if they send me an order it says assigned meaning someone else has it but note that I never seen the order as an option to accept it but you send me an order that’s already assigned to someone then I still accept it only to either not be given the order or for them to send me confirmation of the order ,3,4 something in the morning then if I’m sleep which must humans are then I missed out on the order an it’s crazy if you don’t just take the orders for the 20$ to Jersey or somewhere far like phoenixville for $20 my tier never goes up I don’t think they factor in your time your gas and the fact that you’ll have to pay all these tolls so you just did the order for nothing I’m not doing that I feel your app needs some real readjustments seriously
Right now it’s my best delivery app overall, but I find all of the swiping to be extremely frustrating. Being penalized for arriving early is super weird and annoying! If the food is ready then you should just let the driver leave the restaurant and they can wait at the dropoff location until the proper delivery time, especially in winter when traffic is bad! Also, why track driver GPS for restaurant arrival and dropoff location arrival if we still need to swipe a billion times? For example, I routinely have to take a delivery pic & swipe “complete” in the parking lot of the Ford plant because it is a huge facility that’s very secure… otherwise my delivery will be “late.” It’s just goldilocks vibes that add stress to the job.
The app is constantly evolving - which is good. Those who started off with them know they’ve come a long way and we are proud of the progress they’ve made. My major gripe with them is the driver support. It is IMPOSSIBLE to reach anyone especially when you have account issues. You can just forget about getting any real resolution, assistance or even response. Just delete your account and move on. Been trying to reach them for two solid weeks now based on some weird restrictions that they placed on my account by accident and I’ve gotten ZERO help. It’s quite unfortunate cos I was a really huge fan and I always had good things to say about them. I even at some point sent EZcater an email asking them to assign dlivrd (and some other delivery partners) more orders cos of how human-centric they are. I’m sorely disappointed and gutted by this - I still bliv in them but this is a major flaw in their workflow. I hope they look into it but I’m moving on✌🏽
