Don’t waste your time

Supervisors are extremely arrogant and provide no support. In-app training was pointless because the pickup procedure in the training was completely different from the actual setup. The whole experience felt like a great big joke. Jitsu also steals 2.7% + $.30 of all driver’s tips. No other delivery job does this. A few used to until they were taken to court. You are worth way more than how you’d be treated delivering for this mess of an operation….do yourself a favor and pass on this one. Theres plenty of similar companies that don’t just say they respect & value their drivers, but they actually show it.

Stolen routes...

Driver beware, Jitsu will now take routes from drivers unexpectedly without any recourse! I had two routes "reserved" to only be given to another driver that was closer to pickup! When asked why, this is what they had to say: Hello, Thank you for reaching out. Our ticket allocation is meticulously tailored to accommodate the projected demand from our esteemed clientele. Regrettably, despite our thorough preparations, we encountered a deviation from the anticipated volume, precipitating the cancellation of select tickets. This unforeseen circumstance arose due to a lower-than-expected influx of demand, consequently leaving us with surplus tickets for which there are presently no designated routes. We extend our sincere apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused. Rest assured, we are actively engaged in collaborating with our esteemed partners to mitigate any potential disruptions to our drivers' operations. Your understanding and patience during this period of adjustment are greatly appreciated as we strive to uphold our commitment to delivering exceptional service. Team Jitsu To other drivers alike or new ones thinking of joining, find another app to drive for. Jitsu doesn't honor reserved routes! Complete joke if you ask me!

Unprofessional company

The ‘support’ staff are people sitting at home who don’t know anything about guidelines as well as being very rude. They make drivers take damaged boxes, they force them to deliver a package or get deactivated, even if you promptly fail the package & return it perfectly fine, they’ll try & find any reason to deactivate you. This also causes problems with customers. Let’s say you reside in the Bay Area where theft & stealing is unbelievably common; Axlehire will not care, they want that package delivered, whether the customer approves of dropoff location/answers or not. They don’t care if it gets stolen because they could just blame it on the driver and compensate the customer. They don’t ever consider the space in one’s car, either fit all of it & block side & rear window or don’t take anything at all. They also should tell drivers that a wagon/dolly is *necessary and not *optional because these boxes roughly weight anywhere between 10-45 lbs and if you have to take multiple to one location (let’s say a multistory or large apartment complex) would be a hassle without it since it’ll take more time & effort. They don’t have warehouses that keep the food cold, the store them in room temp warehouse rooms, sometimes kept overnight. This means that many customers could have spoiled or hot foods that are no longer good, but drivers still have to deliver. The company is shady and it’s no surprise why many of their contacts with other brands fail. It would be in the best interest of factor, gatmersdog & hello fresh stop working with them! They also don’t teach a lot of the warehouse employees the same protocol, and that adds another layer of difficulty. This company is trash & I hope many see this. Only do axle on the side. Hope this company goes down bad lol.
