Except from lenghthy onboarding process everything seems fine for me at day one use! I feel like this app would be part of my daily life because my health requires a lot activities to survive. I might edit this review as I use this App more.

The app is a fun concept of using your steps as motivation to unlock and collect characters as avatars. In some ways reminds me of the tamagotchi craze from back in the day. But just like the tamagotchi, if you’re not around on the app regularly (in this case as the last thing you do for the day before bed) you don’t get to collect your steps for the day and have to pay to collect yesterday’s steps, or break your streak and lose XP. This is disappointing and frustrating which takes the fun out of using the app, reducing the chances of me returning tomorrow.
My steps update automatically on my phone, the should be allowed to be collected the day after for Xp if not for the challenges, which I understand have to be on a time clock.

The game is entirely focused on micro transactions. I’m normally a spender on games but not with this one. All you get from recording steps is “XP” which does nothing for your characters in game or actually levels you up at all. It only goes toward a weekly competition. The gems you can get from taking up to 20k steps every single day are worthless compared to the actually quite cheap bundles. What’s the point of playing this game? To put money in the devs pocket. The bundles for purchase do nothing other than get you closer to prestiging where can again earn XP and buy more bundles. Waste of time.
