I paid for the lifetime offer that I received via email, but was unable to get the app to acknowledge my subscription. I sent an email for assistance on 03/22, and after a few days of correspondence, I still couldn’t access the lifetime subscription in the app, despite being advised that I should be all set. I requested a refund on 03/27 and as of today, 04/16, I have not received a response. I initiated a dispute with my credit card company on 04/01, and I cannot say whether it’s still ongoing because of my credit card company, or because of Bright OS. I also confirmed a few minutes ago that I still cannot access the app, because I cannot get beyond step 11/12 that requires me to select either a monthly or annual subscription.
I’ve tried many apps that do almost the same as Bright, but most fall short. Although Bright still has some missing features, the team behind it is open as to their road map and when we expect to receive updates. I cannot wait to see the improvements and future surprises they have. It’s been a pleasure to use the app, it feels snappy and buttery smooth after the latest update (4.5) and that’s only half of the update.
I invested in the lifetime membership early on because I love the concept of tracking all of my health metrics in one place. I know it’s still early, but I’m very optimistic for the future of Bright just based on the current app itself. I’m beyond impressed by the amount of data Bright provides. I wish I was better about tracking my food because one of my favorite features in Bright is seeing the micronutrient profile for everything I eat in a day. Also super sick how it pulls data from Apple health, so it keeps tabs on all my health metrics from there. Highly recommend if you’re looking for an app who can help you achieve your health goals!
