Maize: Organic Local & Healthy

Wow. This app is great. I though it would be just another app that I’d end up deleting, because it would either cost to much, or not be what it claims to be. But so far I love it. The set-up was easy and quick, so I was able to create an account and start checking it out right away. It has so much to offer. I have found new health places to eat and buy my food from, which are all local so I’m helping to support small businesses from going out of business, which is really important to me. I’m able to migrate through the app easily. Most of all, I love having the ability to meet and talk to people that love eating health too. I’ve been comparing and sharing recipes, and even for some local healthy eateries I never knew about. There is a lot more I could say about this amazing app but I can sum it up easily AMAZING.

This app is pretty cool. It has a map that displays verified locally sourced farm-fresh businesses, farmers markets, breweries, wineries, restaurants, and farms within a radius. Where I live there are no farms around, so I chose my closest city that I visit for my results and found some locally sourced places to shop, eat and drink while I'm there. I have friends in other major cities, so I easily changed my search results to their location and found that they have way more results, but the population is way higher. The change of location option is great to plan a trip ahead of time to see where I am going to purchase my food and drinks I can only expect with time and the help of sharing and word of mouth, that this app will only get better with its results.

Grateful to have found this app! Ever since the pandemic began I’ve been looking for ways to support my local small businesses and community produced farm-to-table options to help out as best as I can, and this app makes it super easy to find my closest places to visit. It even has helped me discover new ones regardless of my typical fixed home location for when I’m out and about thanks to its by city search features. Really appreciate having this resource to make it much easier to discover places and keep it all organized for my next grocery shopping trip - hope more small businesses sign up to have their listings featured too :)
