So the idea of a real picture a day is so huuuuge. it’s the reason why on other dating platforms I give out my snap instead of my actual number because people catfish way to much. It also eliminates bots which is plaguing tinder rn. So this is a great concept and giving premium away for a month to people that grow the app is also a smart move as well. But there’s to things I don’t like one is the search filter I’m 27 I should be able to limit my search to avoid looking at 60+ people like I’m never gonna talk to them realistically and I’m just hurting their feelings when I accidentally match then unmatch. Also while growing the community is a great idea and using a valuable feature like premium to have people help do so is a great idea. How are y’all making any money at all? I can’t find anything to purchase at all and there’s no ads that iv seen? You should allow people to do premium I think but if you were to change those two things I think this app could become even better then tinder … though bumbles design and concept are so good and unique I don’t think you can beat them but definitely could compete at that level.

First off, filters are completely nonfunctional. I’m 15 minutes into using the app and most of the people I’m swiping on seem to be outside of the age range I set. And there’s no way to know if the people are even remotely near me but judging by some of the photos I can tell they’re in other states. Secondly, while it’s a cool idea to have to take a new BeReal style photo daily, this means that most the photos are low quality and trash. Bad angles, not showing a full face… it’s like swiping through a hundred snapchats with people you haven’t talked to in a year but still send bad photos back and forth with to keep the streak alive. I’d recommend the developers work HARD to fix the filters. And then something should be implemented to tap in and see the two photos the person uploaded during account creation or just some kind of better photo than what they took that day. Or use AI to recommend better lighting and face view or something. Additionally, something got me logged out of the app and now I can’t get back in cuz there isn’t a login prompt on the app. There’s only a register option and I can’t re-register with my same info. So they REALLY need to add a normal login functionality to the first page.

This app is great by design, I love the concept and the realness of it. Also a huge plus that it’s not money hungry like the other apps. HOWEVER the filters are a absolute mess, you set that you want a certain age and it completely ignores it. Secondly the 3 matches that I have gotten since I started 30 minutes have been across the state, 500 miles away and on the complete other side of the US from me. New York to California. It’s impossible to make connections with people you know you will never see. I understand this app is in its infancy and likely does not have enough users in your direct area but I’d rather be able to set the distance and have it tell me I'm all out of matches near me then match with someone across the nation. Also side note, it’s very hard to find 3 people every month to sign up for a dating app. There should be other ways to get it, download apps or watch ads or something. I understand that the company has to do something but people don’t know that many single people me included.
