i find the app super handy and very to use when i need food advices and calories check. I wish it would be easier to order vitamin or glp-1.
The most commonly used feature is to be able to log your food. This is done maybe in on average 10 times in a day. The design of this feature is very high friction, so many interactions is required to just get done with it. You’re forced to type a name for whatever you’re entering, etc. Just make it optional. Don’t bury it behind the three clicks. I can endure a high friction design. But what is frustrating is incredible unreliability. Like there’s a unnecessarily short session timeout that you have to enter your password couple times in a week. All while trying to take 10 seconds to enter what you are eating. This is just unacceptable. This is a high use manual tracking app. Not a banking app. Not only that, stuff like forced updates on your app while the app was not rolled out in the App Store etc. You don’t need this type of complexity for this type of app. Especially when your core functionality is a pain to use. I don’t care about any other fluff, just make the thing work. And make it work every day, every week and every month. And then don’t break it.
Two stars because I’ve been waiting for 7 years. A son of a member made a tracking app that was better than this. Glitchy isn’t even the word I could use. Literally 100’s of other apps they could have copied. No idea how the boxes translate.
