As a long time Recettear player, this one is a winner by my books. Very free-to-play friendly and open world in terms of gameplay progression. It's got a little of every for everyone. Decorations, check. Hero collection, check. Epic battles, check. City building, you got it. I'm only Lv. 14 so far, but I've already unlocked 6-7 systems in which seem super deep.
They took the original and expanded it with a bunch of new additions like buff statues but every new thing is behind a paywall of premium currency or obtainable after months of grinding. The costs of upgrades is outrageous within 3 hours. Heroes flood the bar? Area with quests that can’t be completed for who knows how long. The craftsmen are sad all the time, which slows production!, and then require a rare resource to boost their morale or a high amount of gold…and then they’re happy for like 20 minutes. Also, added gacha mechanics and spin the wheel vices because why not try to exploit the masses and children.
Been waiting for the game to release for over 3 month now, so glad it’s finally out. While the wait between pre-order and the anticipation was longer than I would of liked, the game is everything Shop Heroes and Shop Titans is and then some. Feature packed with deep systems and loads of events despite having just launched. The gameplay and graphics are smooth so far so looking forward to playing the upcoming Race to the Top event advertised!
