I’d give it no stars if I could. The actual smart plug doesn’t work like it should. Setting timers on the app never works. The only thing you can do is turn on and off devices far from the house, but that’s only if it decides it’s connected. It boots you out of the app regularly, takes about 3 tries with the correct information to log back in, looses connection to the internet weekly, and the customer service has blatantly ignored me. At first they acted like they’d eventually help and they were looking into the issue and doing a “new update” but really they just dragged this on until the return window for the device closed then stopped responding. I asked for a customer service phone number and got no response. In hindsight I’d have just returned the device and spent the extra money on a better device and a better/more reliable company.

Rating: ⭐☆☆☆☆ (1 out of 5) I attempted to cancel my subscription with Mercury Smart Cameras four months ago, but they continued billing me monthly for a service I was no longer receiving. The only way to communicate with them is through online requests—there is no phone number to call and speak with a representative. I submitted multiple cancellation requests through their website and email, providing my information, but I never received a response. Ultimately, I had to change my payment card to one that was no longer active just to stop the charges. This was incredibly frustrating and unprofessional. As for the cameras themselves, the experience was just as inconsistent. When the system worked, the image and audio quality were good, and I appreciated the trigger notifications (such as detecting humans or animals). However, the functionality was unreliable. I often went days without any recordings at all, which defeats the purpose of having a security camera. Overall, the poor customer service, billing issues, and unreliable performance make this a product and company I cannot recommend

Honestly, this camera is doing well so far! It has an excellent image during the day and at night it is blurry in some spots as expected in any outdoor camera with night vision, without paying over $50 so pretty good if you ask me! The App itself could have some updates and new forthcomings would be nice! While installing the camera as I was running the cord through the wall up to the attic and down to the garage where I plugged it in at unfortunately I had to use a extension cord to complete the power process! Lol but other than those -2! This product made by Merkury is a Solid piece of equipment!
