I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Bombay Shirt Company. I recently purchased two made-to-order shirts for approximately ₹5,000, including both the fabric and stitching. I was very happy with the quality and decided to order the exact same fabric in a different colour. To my surprise, I was informed that the same order would now cost me around ₹7,000 simply because the company has revised the pricing for made-to-order shirts. What makes this even more unreasonable is that the same fabric is available in their ready-made collection for around ₹2,500 per shirt. Charging such a significant premium for a made-to-order version of the same fabric, especially within such a short period, feels excessive and unjustified. I understand that businesses may revise their prices from time to time, but a steep increase without any meaningful change in the product or service leaves customers feeling taken for granted. This pricing strategy is difficult to justify and has completely changed my perception of the brand. Unfortunately, because of this experience, I have decided not to make any future purchases from Bombay Shirt Company. I hope the company reconsiders its pricing approach and values customer loyalty more than short-term revenue.
Shopped worth over 40K in transactions - the issues are consistent. 1. Quality - wrong fit for trouser waist, wrong length. 2. The button stitch is poor. No buttons come off in a one wash these days where as the buttons are wobbly already 3. Delays and no updates and this happens not just in peak season but also before and after What works - fitting is good for shirts - rest I believe there is still need for a better customer experience - either BSC or someone else will provide it and take the market
I have been a regular customer to BSC. As name suggests they are degree holders in quality and time. We will fall in love with the shirts and they become our friends immediately once u wear them. The comfort and warmth they offer is just like none other. 5 stars.
