I’m pleasantly surprised by the ease with which I can submit issues (traffic light problem, broken sign, etc). It’s also very easy to follow the progress of your submitted issues. I was unable to submit a photo for one of the issues, but overall it’s a great step forward in keeping us citizens involved in bettering our city. Thanks!
This is one of the best citizen GIS (Geographic Information Systems) apps I have seen. It’s seems that if you take multiple pictures (different angles for good documentation) and submit them along in the comments section of the issue the city of Houston will address the issue quickly. A picture is worth a thousand words. I wish the surrounding cities (Sugarland, Richmond, etc.) all tied into this 1 app. It seems all the push pins in the surrounding cities are not being addressed and left as open incidents. Send email the mayor’s office of your city to tie into the 311 GIS app and let us fix Houston area! Great job app developers!!
Used to be able to app but now different. Does not work.
Want to report a pothole, broken traffic signal, or graffiti while on the go? The Houston 311 app makes reporting issues like these easier than ever....
