I appreciate all the hard work during the and after the storms. I hope leaders are listening to your feedback. The illegal dumping in acres homes is frustrating. Paid jobs get dumped on Easter and little your right after you filled an entire truck. Is there some type of portable cam that can be used. They know how to blur their liscence plates in the process.

I find this app to be easy to navigate and user-friendly, but sometimes the information provided is not correct. We often have days when our recycling truck doesn’t come (usually due to weather or a holiday). They only come every other week so if they miss us one week, they don’t make it up the next week and we wait an additional two weeks before pick-up. The app will sometimes say they are coming when they actually don’t. Otherwise, it’s a great app and has a lot of helpful information.

City of Houston and specifically the Solid Waste Department have done an outstanding job of trying to keep up with the increased demand for services while dealing with outdated and insufficient equipment. This app has helped tremendously by informing us of when services will be expected and notifications of any foreseen delays. Gone are the days of neighbors asking on the Nextdoor app when regular trash, yard waste, heavy trash or recycling will be picked up. It has eliminated many, many calls to 311 for that information.
