An oldie but goodie. Still as much fun as when we downloaded it -no joke- 13 years ago. Plays beautifully on my nearly w year old iPad, too. Original review: I used to beg to play Arkanoid as a child and this does feel that void pretty nicely; the levels are so creative with great graphics, sound effects (with separate adjustable volumes for music and sound effects- thank you!!) and just enough challenge. Just give me a little warp power up of some sort and I will be forever grateful. My son and I think this is great fun, and I am happy to see him a choose a game that will have him working on timing , problem solving, etc. as he anticipates where the ball is heading, and how to avoid things like the paddle shortener. There are in-app purchases, which to be truthful are rarely a plus in my eyes- I do wish there were a way to restrict this area. I've placed the game in the "Ask Mom" folder for now. Nonetheless, the in-apps are not necessary to play the game- as you go through the levels you can collect coins, which we have done. We are having fun unlocking extra paddles and balls with our earned coins.
The levels range from crest to dull, I enjoyed most of them, I have one problem. WHY IS THERE A SPACE FOR A 4th level pack that’s not available, like why, either move the “like anodia? tap here!” button to the bottom of the screen, addthe demo exclusive levels in or make the 4th level pack, because it just looks awkward in its current state.
This is one of the more challenging brick breaker games I’ve played. Had it for years! It’s also been about 7 years since there’s been an update. Sadness. But it still works on iPhone 13 with iOS 15.
Anodia has a solid 5 star rating with thousands of comments and is enjoyed by millions of players. Any hesitation? Just read the Customer Reviews!...
