This is a SCAM. They collect $1.99 or $4.99 for at least the first year automatically if you click subscribe. You can easily cancel? But they already charge your account unless you dispute the charge. For some, it’s a hassle to dispute such a small amount so OFoggy continues to collect the $$$. $1.99 or $4.99 per person for a however many people subscribe for NO value in return. What a sweet deal for this software developer, eh? The app doesn’t work at all from the moment subscribed. The screen just freezes before any webcam image even has a chance to load! Someone needs to shut down this app!

(TLDR on bottom) Hey, I board my dog here in Michigan and downloaded this app to view my dog as my flight kept getting delayed (generator then gas then bad weather). As it was downloading I was reading reviews and was starting to get disappointed as I found out it was paid and that people were not getting good video quality, if they were even able to watch at all. Although the reviews were mostly negative there were some good ones so I decided to pull the trigger and spend the $2. When I first got into my boarding place they had different camera options so it took me a while but I did find my dog and although not the best video quality it was watchable (in about 360p 10-15 fps). After going back to read reviews I didn’t have the same negative experience most people were having but I have an idea as to why. The boarding location I use for my dog had a free online service before moving to ODoggy and from what I remember it was about the same as ODoggy in terms of quality and speed. This leads me to believe that while Odoggy does have a pretty bad UI and that the dev team makes little changes that the problems you might face have nothing to do with ODoggy and have to do with the location that you are keeping your pet. I would try asking the receptionist at the boarding location to see if they’ve had any complaints about the online viewing. If they say no and you have $2 I would try it out. Although I only watched my dog for 5-7 minutes it did help me focus on something else while also letting me watch my dog. TLDR; flight got delayed, got bored. downloaded the app after reading negative reviews. Decided to pay the $2 anyways to hopefully watch my dog and the app worked fine. Came to the conclusion that the app isn’t the issue rather the place that you are boarding your pet at.

I used this app during our family vacation to watch our dogs at the “pet resort” we booked for them. If you download this app, then you automatically give them permission to authorize a charge to your card every single time the subscription is about to expire, which is ridiculous to say the least. The terms of service say they will charge your card unless you go turn off the auto renewal in your settings 24 hours prior to the subscription end date. I was planning on turning it off before my subscription ended on December 15th, but on December 6th I received a receipt from Apple saying my card had been charged the $1.99 subscription renewal already, obviously a lot sooner than expected. Now I’ve been charged a fee for something I’ll never use again since we don’t get many opportunities to take family vacations these days. The only reason I gave it one star is because when we did use it, it was really great to see what our pups were doing anytime we had the chance. Unfortunately I wasn’t given an option to be able to look at our dogs in any other way except for only using the app because the “pet resort” only uses this subscription service and no others. I should have done more of my homework on this prior to booking our dogs at this place, but there aren’t many options for decent dog boarding around where I live. Just a little bit of advice if you ever plan to use this app & aren’t going to use this service continuously, once you download it then you should immediately make sure you turn off the auto renewal before you use it so you don’t forget or get trapped into a charge you didn’t want authorized.
