The Badoo app used to be a lot better. The search would actually show people near you. And start with the closest and then increase distance. Now the search will show people 100 miles away and then randomly show someone close, it’s completely random to find someone close now. It seems there used to be a lot more REAL people on the application. It’s getting to be full of scam profiles, and profiles of people from other countries. They took away the private folder for photos a couple years ago and that was one of the best things the application had for it. There is also a lot of profiles of transgender people, that instead of selecting they are transgendered, they select they are male or female so they end up in the searches for members of the opposite sex. If those members wanted to search for a transgender person, they would be searching for them, not for a male or for a female.
When dealing with different cultures sometimes things are not very well understood. Someone complaining about you because they can’t speak English and misunderstand everything is no reason to be moderated. I think that Badoo should send the text in question to who they are moderating not just judge something they probably don’t understand themselves
Whats the point in paying for the premium app if your just going to go ahead and still charge for a subscription? Thats FALSE ADVERTISEMENT. Its illegal first of all and i sent myself the receipt as proof of purchase. Yall need to figure something out since you took my money. And just so your aware of the definition; False Advertising "Any advertising or promotion that misrepresents the nature, characteristics, qualities or geographic origin of goods, services or commercial activities" (Lanham Act, 15 U.S.C.A. § 1125(a)). Proof Requirement To establish that an advertisement is false, a plaintiff must prove five things: (1) a false statement of fact has been made about the advertiser's own or another person's goods, services, or commercial activity; (2) the statement either deceives or has the potential to deceive a substantial portion of its targeted audience; (3) the deception is also likely to affect the purchasing decisions of its audience; (4) the advertising involves goods or services in interstate commerce; and (5) the deception has either resulted in or is likely to result in injury to the plaintiff. The most heavily weighed factor is the advertisement's potential to injure a customer. The injury is usually attributed to money the consumer lost through a purchase that would not have been made had the advertisement not been misleading. False statements can be defined in two ways: those that are false on their face and those that are implicitly false. So the app states your paying for premium but you get only the free app features and then you say “you have to pay a subscription for the premium” i paid for the premium app so where is my premium?
