Don’t know why there’s a large amount of negative reviews. It’s not the best but still not the worst. It’s the most reliable airline when you travel around China. Some international flights are satisfying as well. The app is easy-to-use and I haven’t encountered any weird error yet.

I tried checking in on both the phone app and the website but it would not work with multiple tries entering my name different ways.
Finally I called the phone number and someone told me I had to enter my name of any specific way. “FAMILY/FIRST MIDDLE”
I recommend that you put on your website the specific format that the name must be entered. It will not only save your customers lots of time it will also keep your customers from having to call your phone number and use your service representatives time.

because they’d never go out of business or I should say don’t even have half a decent competition because they’re government owned… therefore some high ranks’ wife’s cousin probably got the job to make the app that would only need to cater to the board members of air china, who btw don’t even fly commercial air OR even use apps themselves. ain’t nobody’s gonna care if you have a bad experience or if a ui doesn’t work how it’s supposed to. It’s there to appease the talking heads.
