Lucero is a fun and interactive app designed to help kids of all ages learn how to navigate and manage their feelings. It allows you to choose your own avatar, go on adventures within islands dedicated to an aspect of life and self-discovery, and send fun or encouraging messages to your “Crew” (friends and family). It also gives you activities based on how you’re feeling today. I’m a teenager, and I find this app incredibly helpful and accessible. Additionally, I love the visuals and design of the app, from the colors to the avatars to the main character, Lucero herself.
One of my favorite features is the option to vote for an organization to donate to via the Spark portal, and I’m excited to see which organization gets the most votes!

Lucero is an awesome app! As a teenager, it’s hard to find something that really helps with all the energy and mood changes. This helps me track and manage all of my emotions, which is something I really need to do more often.
The design is adorable! I love the Collection and Crew ideas! I love having daily goals, Spark, and Journey. The avatars are adorable, and Lucero is super cute!
There’s one thing that I wish were different, though: the Missions are unchangeable. When you first open an account, you choose daily goals/missions for different areas of your life. I chose pretty important ones for myself at the time, but didn’t realize that you couldn’t edit, switch, or add to them once you felt like you got them down.
So, a cool feature that I’d like to see is a way to vary those Missions! It would be cool to have a tracker for Missions/Goals/Habits that you’ve completed for maybe a certain amount of time, and then get to work on different Daily Missions.
But other than that little thing, this app is my comfort app and I’m always grateful for it. Thank you!

Lucero is an app for all ages that can teach you how to deal with unfamiliar and new emotions in a fun and interactive way. When I'm stressed or anxious, this app is a great way for me to be able to slow down and reflect on how I’m feeling. With the stress of school, it's wonderful to have Lucero as a place to unwind and cope with my feelings. I love the daily checkins, which are simple checkins that allow you to assess your mood for the day. I really enjoy all the characters and the app's interactive nature; it provides a way for me to deal with my emotions in a fun way.
