This app is horrible. I need to submit a maintenance request and can’t even sign into the app. It asks me to enter my phone number on the log in page. Once entered it doesn’t give me the option to do anything else. It’s just stays on that page. At the bottom there is only the option to review the privacy policy and terms and conditions.

This app was ostensibly created to replace the existing Greystar resident app, but it fails to match even the basic functionality due extremely poor design decisions and a buggy interface.
Payments, for example, are no longer done through an in-app interface, but instead require opening an in-app web browser to login to the resident website. Why on earth this decision was made is beyond me. The old app handled payments directly inside the app without the clunky, often buggy, web browser, and didn’t require additional logins.
This by itself is enough to give this ill conceived waste a one star rating. People famously love it when you take something that works well, and replace it with something that doesn’t work at all half the time.
As for the rest of the app, it constantly fails or takes excessive amounts of time to load anything.
Why this app was rushed out, when it so clearly is not finished, is beyond me. Maybe over time they’ll update it to the point it’s usable, but I wouldn’t be the least bit surprised if they leave it broken, the same way they leave half the amenities on the property I live in broken.
I can only assume, like so many other halfassed “improvements” they make, this broken app will be touted as a new “amenity” to justify further obscene rent increases.
If Greystar can’t fix a doorknob or an air conditioner in a timely fashion, definitely don’t count on them to fix this anytime soon. Or at all.

For the amount of money Greystar makes and resident portal aka entrata is just garbage when it comes to resident side of things. I am sure it’s great from an asset management perspective, but putting a half-baked app up, and forcing it on everyone pretty crappy.
Payments pull up an in-app browser?!? This is lazy, and sad.
WHERE DOES ALL THE RENT MONEY & FEES GO?! It surely isn’t going into developing this app.
This has no community building features that could have been nice—forum, classifieds, etc. The app only has a bunch of crappy affiliate agreements/promos. I don’t care about “spruce” or “CORT” etc. FIND SOME PRO-RESIDENT agreements and quit showing me ads in my building’s (which I pay enough for) app!!!
Not sure if the Product Manager that is in charge of this app knows anything about being a tenant, or thought or fought for features and enhancements that would be great for tenants—like no convenience fee for credit cards or at least minimal fees, classifieds, forum, real decent rewards that could go towards less rent or something.
I’m sorry entrata: do better, and greystar: start caring about your tenants and not just your assets!
