IKEA has managed to make a simple and mostly reliable app for all of its devices. Responsiveness and connectivity with HomeKit is perfect but the app does lack deeper features compared to competing platforms. Things such as detailed energy monitoring and charts. Bulb controls are almost a little too simplified and lack customization for colored bulbs such as themes and effects. All too often I experience the hub disconnecting from the app but a simple refresh fixes it. If IKEA is reading, please keep refining and adding features for future updates.

Starting maybe in the last month, I’ve had to close and reopen the app multiple times to get it to connect to the hub. After the last update I was no longer able to use the app no matter how many times I closed it. I unplugged and re-plugged the Dirigera hub and while my husband’s worked, mine still didn’t. I deleted and reinstalled the app and now it says “hub not found” when I try to connect even though it was working for my husband. Only one way to connect and it wasn’t working for me. We did a full reset today and now neither of us can connect to the hub. Really really frustrating! I think the last update may have broken something? Not sure where else to provide feedback on it. IKEA, please fix!

So far no issues with the app. Good up time. I would like the see an option to get notified when there is a significant change in power draw from the power monitor. For example, when the clothes washer is done and stops drawing significant power, I get a push notification to let me know. I would rather use that product as a smart sensor than a smart outlet.
