The My Vida app is the most frustrating app I’ve used for any electric scooter. Keeps logging out constantly. Have to login again every few days. Pathetic connectivity – takes forever to connect to the scooter, fails most times. Bugs & glitches everywhere. UI freezes, stats don’t update, charging data wrong. Features don’t work – remote lock/unlock, ride stats, battery % are all unreliable. Turn-by-turn navigation is useless because of the terrible scooter connection. Drops mid-ride. No support unless you send video proof of every issue. Why should I troubleshoot for your developers? Worst part: Scooter motor sometimes gives sudden hard vibrations while riding. App shows no error/warning for it. Developers: Don’t reply with “email us and we’ll look into it”. I already did. Nothing got solved. Hero needs to fix this app urgently. It’s ruining the whole Vida ownership experience. Right now the scooter is better off without this app.
Extremely Disappointing Experience with Vida Scooter – Poor Product & Even Worse Service I am compelled to share my highly unsatisfactory experience with the Vida scooter, which has proven to be one of the most disappointing purchases I’ve made. From the very beginning, the product has been plagued with serious reliability issues. The scooter frequently fails to start, often without any clear reason, leaving me stranded and frustrated. Additionally, the battery performance is highly inconsistent — at times it simply does not charge, making the vehicle unreliable for even basic daily use. The mobile application, which is supposed to enhance the overall experience, is equally disappointing. It is riddled with glitches, lacks responsiveness, and often fails to function altogether. Instead of adding convenience, it has become another source of inconvenience. What is even more concerning is the after-sales service. The support team appears unresponsive and ineffective in resolving issues. Service requests take an unreasonable amount of time, and even after multiple follow-ups, problems remain unresolved. There seems to be a clear lack of accountability and customer care. Overall, the product fails to meet even basic expectations of functionality and reliability, and the service experience only makes matters worse. I would strongly advise potential buyers to reconsider before investing in this scooter. Verdict: Not recommended under any circumstances.
Vida app has to significantly improve to match the ride’s quality. I started getting this problem where the app keeps logging out, essentially locking me out of very important features, that I have paid for. I hope the team understands that this app, in essence, is not free. You need to do much better. Update: so Bluetooth functionality is just trash. Vehicle won’t connect at all, I had to forget it and again put pin and pair it with my phone. All this before I can start a turn by turn navigation. Ok, so when I started that, the scooter showed the first update “10km to go” on the screen and that’s it, until I got home, it kept saying “10km to go”, it is laughable how bad that is. I asked good samaritans for directions. Overall the deficit between how decent the scooter is vs how bad is the app is, is baffling.
