EF Defense

I like the tiered environments, each one leading to the next. But the game itself doesn't require any strategy unlike most TD games. You simply hit the auto loadup button to load your units in their slots before you start, and then during gameplay it's just a matter of pressing a couple buttons to bring out the basic militia troops (which costs you nothin, so you can do over and over every five seconds) and cast the occasional spell. There's no decision making about where to place towers or which towers to upgrade. Plus just like so many other freemium games, they give you tons of resources to level up your units to make winning easy. It's just boring.

Tutorial is pretty slow, but honestly isn’t that long. Once you get through that though, the game is pretty fun. Good amount of things to do. Easy to earn VIP points through leveling up (like really generous with it past level 100). Only gripe is that there’s just one server and it’s hard to catch up. 4.5/5

Endless Frontier art and characters with AFK Arena loops in it, but with loads of quality of life added. Will be interesting to see what events and types of things are added down the line.
