App requires your password to be between 8-16 characters. That’s inexcusable- it’s a clear indication that they are using a weak, easily hacked login system. The app also seems to prevent you from copying and pasting in passwords, making it much more difficult to use a password manager. Once inside, the app itself seems… fine. Not great, but fine.

This app is terrible and doesn’t even allow you to paste your email address into the fields at account creation and it not compatible with password managers like Bitwarden, which help everyone to keep their accounts more secure with strong unique passwords. It is also an invasion of your privacy. I purchased a Innova Oximeter in order to test my SpO2 and wirelessly sync it to my Apple Health. Upon arrival, I was forced to sign up for a privacy-invading account with the Beyond Oximeter app just to get my results into my phone wirelessly. I am disgusted that these manufacturers are making money with this tactic which exposes customer PII, including health data, to hackers and bad actors. We all know the IT security practices of these corporations are never sufficient and they will be hacked eventually. Innova knows this too, but they don’t care.

I must have downloaded this after the bugs mentioned in earlier reviews were fixed. It’s really easy to set up and use the app, and the app data matches the readout on the odometer. Recorded sessions are saved as historical data, which is helpful. Glad I got this.

Beyond Med Shop Oximeter provides you with a variety of services, including real-time measurement of your vital signs, data recording sharing, viewing device instructions, etc. Before using the service, you need to register for an account in the APP. After sign in, the APP will automatically search and connect to your oximeter device. Note: To use the app, a Bluetooth-enabled Beyond Med Shop Oximeter is required.
