Idle Space Force

It’s very rare to see an App Store game with a dev that actually cares about it, especially a free one that doesn’t force ads on you. I do kind of wish the bullets were a little faster or something, but then again I’ve prestiged a couple times now 🤠 can’t wait to see more power ups and other content!

Great combination of idle and active play. Both are well rewarded, and cleverly incentivized. This is truly a game you’ll play for a few minutes at a time, and then be o.k. with logging off, knowing you’ll receive a handsome reward when returning. The ads are not obtrusive, and decently rewarded, but you’re not forced into viewing them. Its only downside is that it’s rather short (finished in a few days), and while the active gameplay is varied and engaging, and evolves nicely with upgrades, it’s ultimately repetitive. But, that’s o.k., because at a certain point, logging off to accumulate resources via idle makes more sense than grinding. Imagine that, a game with built in anti-addiction mechanisms. Brilliant! Really a 4 star game given inherent limitations, but the fair design and non-obnoxious monetization earn it an extra star. Look forward to developers future work!

Do you ever want to go back in time to when life was good and video games were awesome? Well, I don’t have a time machine, but this game is the closest I’ve gotten! I love the retro feel that this game has it makes me feel like I’m sitting in my parents sunk in den and playing on the shag carpet. The game play is smooth and feels like a true throw back to the golden era of video games. I think I haven’t been able to put the game down since I started this morning! Ladies and Gents, good games still exist, but this is a great one and there are only so many of these days, so didn’t miss out. I’ll see you on the top scores page!
