Cove - Gamified Finance

I first downloaded the app after meeting one of the founders. His passion for helping ordinary people create a habit of investing in themselves and their future was contagious. The app is really simple, creating enough fun to keep coming back while also not demanding lots of time. The customer service is quick and responsive, and they are always looking for suggestions to improve the game, the savings mechanisms, and the investments. I highly recommend this app.

If you’re looking into this app, like me ,you probably realized that you need some incentive, you understand gamification, or it just looks cool. Speaking from my corner of the universe it motivates me more than a bank account would. I’m being cautious due to me not researching the company thoroughly, but there’s a refreshing idea here. Granted I haven’t withdrawn any money yet so time will tell if that’s an issue. Hence why it’s TBD, but I think it clears a hurdle in the act of saving. I can’t verbalize it maybe the gratification. Either way excited to see what the team develops.

I’ve used a lot of finance tracking / saving apps, but this is a one of a kind. Nothing I have ever used is able to encourage someone to save money so effectively. Their devs are also really responsive and helpful if you ever have any questions or suggestions. My favorite part about the app is the social feature which allows you to share your savings with friends + send money, and this creates and even stronger incentive to save money, cause who wants to look broke lol. The UI is also very user friendly and looks really clean, which is important to me since so many banking apps are the equivalent of using windows vista.
