The words that are introduced are so specific and out of context - like “gesp” and “graafmachine” when we haven’t even discussed the basic colors of the rainbow or sounding the alphabet in Dutch. This app makes the child earn points so it can play other games. It’s focused on creating addict behavior, striving to earn points as opposed to being inspired to learn. It’s a shame as it’s actually really beautifully made, but wow so stupid.
Super leuke en leerzame app!
Great initiative, but it would be nice if after starting the app we could try the games or at least see what they're like, before it forces to set a passcode (no idea why that's needed for just opening the app), register an account (which asks for a bunch of personal information, no idea why that's needed) and immediately start a paid subscription (and just have a dead-end on that screen until you do). Also, it would be nice if it didn't send the the password of the created account by email in plain text...
