I had hoped the previous negative reviews were the typical RTFM teacup tempests, or just old issues that have been fixed, but now that I’ve tried the app I agree. It appears to be nothing more than a dumbed-down interface to the exact same website you could access in Safari. And, yes, part of that dumbing down involved removing the ability to go back to the previous page. I gave it two stars because it does actually do what it is supposed to, but it doesn’t do it well. I will be deleting the so-called app.
Holy cow is this full of bugs. It's basically unusable. If you select something and try to overtype it, it jumps your cursor elsewhere. If you try to select something to BOLD it, it doesn't work correctly. If you try to copy text it doesn't work correctly. I had to uninsall it.
I like having better control of notifications instead of having to check email but navigation is a pain without a back button. Edit: Has been out for months now. Still no back button any link from an email or browser has to be clicked twice. It will take you to your home feed on the app so you have to go back to the source and click it again. If you get a notification from the app it opens the app, the notification disappears and then you have to find the topic on your own. I’m about to delete the app and stick with using a browser. And I’m deducting another star.
