Temply: AI Video & Reels Maker

This is one of a very small handful of creative tools I truly love and depend on for work on a daily basis. It’s shockingly powerful and efficient in terms of time expenditure, and yet it doesn’t feel dumbed down, oversimplified or limiting, or unwieldy to use. As a creative professional, I recognize that there are numerous much more powerful software options out there to put together a video but they can get so complicated and unnecessarily so depending on the needs you have. I love Temply. I think one of the biggest things it has going for it is there are a lot of aspects that speed up the process of putting together a polished video, like applying settings to all (within whatever context you’re editing). I really love and appreciate that since I’m extremely annoyed when that sort of thing is not available — it just makes everything unnecessarily tedious when you have to repeat the same thing over and over again. I’ve also made many videos of varying length (from 3 sec to 2 min etc) and it’s still very stable when it comes to rendering the output. If you’re on the fence - just get it. It’s a beautiful app and it’s well made and worth paying for.

I bought the app last year and it did not disappoint it’s everything I wanted and more. I had taken a long break from social media instagram basically and I had decided I would hop back on I immediately noticed everyone was doing reels and videos, I panicked IG had become a complicated video making world. I soon found Temply and was hooked I started making videos to send to my dad and friends who were not on instagram/ social media. I also found it very useful because I didn’t post or don’t post often I value my time spend online but making the videos with this app became a fun hobby and relaxing creative process I enjoyed. I current haven’t renewed my Temply due to the fact that it’s very pricey as is any hobby but I am saving my coins! It’s definitely worth the money and one of the best video making apps out there to date. I have recently fiddled with a few while saving and they all disappoint. I hope this review helps you lean into the purchase I know you will look back and think why did I wait so long! You will wow yourself at how cool your reels & videos can be. Enjoy!!

I like all the templates you get and the fonts/effects. And just how easy it is to use all these tools. What I don’t like is that when you put a text in your video and only want it to show up for a certain point is that your limited to where I can start. For example, if I only want the text to last 3-5 seconds in the beginning. I cannot do that, the app has it set for a certain limit which might only allow me to leave the text for a minimum of 8-9seconds. By this point it’s already cut into my next video and now I have to find a way to make sure it doesn’t interfere with the following text. Also, when you have multiple text on your video, and they come out a different points but you want the following text to be In the same location as the first one. That’s pretty much impossible on this app. The first text stays there and pretty much blocks the following text until you play your video to see how it will be displayed while it plays. Normally you can put multiple texts in the same location and the first text will disappear and won’t interfere with the next text. Otherwise if you want to place them in the same spot and later on you want to make the text bigger or move it, you might tap on the wrong one and have to move EVERYTHING around. I have not found a way around this and would love to see them update this. Especially if I’m paying for this app, i would hope that they update these crappy functions. Even free apps already let you do these types of things.
