I usually don’t care much for games with a story, but this was so beautifully done. The art style is fantastic and the story arc was cute enough to follow along but also easy enough to ignore if you don’t care for it. The puzzles themselves were fun, albeit not very challenging, but new mechanics were added often enough to keep it interesting. They are also not too complex, so you could easily break up the game into a bunch of small sessions. Some issues I ran into: - Settings menu is in the upper right. It’s white and practically invisible and took me way too long to realize it was there, even after the game informed me there were settings - Controls could be wonky. There were a handful of times where the object was snapping to the wrong location when I wanted to be one square over. I thought perhaps the game didn’t allow it for one reason or another, but then eventually I’d come back to it and get it in the location I originally wanted - Pathfinding occasionally behaved strangely. I’d tap on an object a few squares to the right of my character, and instead of moving directly to right, he’d try to take a longer path that went up and around and was blocked - Chapter selection doesn’t seem to be working correctly. I tried to go back to find all the art and when trying to replay a chapter, it advances to the next/most recent chapter instead. It worked when I replayed chapter 1 but not anymore. The issues I encountered were minor and this is still a five star game. Would definitely recommend it!

I just finished playing and without spoiling it for anyone else, the ending made me cry a little. The artwork is simple but breathtaking, and very original. The story immediately grabs you, pulls at your heartstrings, and doesn’t let go even once the game is completed. The puzzles were just challenging enough to make you think but not drive you to madness. Well done team. Well done. Also, I want to address any negative reviews. Giving this amazing game and the developers ONE STAR just because you got a little frustrated isn’t cool at all!!! This game was not difficult to figure out, the tutorial is thorough, and it’s easy to find the main menu. I actually really appreciate the inconspicuous menu (tiny dot in the upper right hand corner), anything more than that would take away from the artwork. At the risk of being a *little* mean, you have to have an IQ above 3 to figure it out lol. If you seriously get angry and purposely hurt the rating because *you* couldn’t figure it out, it’s not the game for you. The game isn’t the problem lol.

I had pre-ordered this game back in January based solely on its preview imagery, and, despite its release being briefly delayed, so far, it has been entirely worth the wait. I have completed only a small portion of the game, but already I am utterly in awe of its simple yet stunning artwork, its delicate yet immersive storytelling, and its delightfully calming soundtrack. Although I have only played for less than one day and have completed only a chapter or two, I do not feel my praise is premature nor undeserved. I am not one to rate apps, let alone write a full review, yet I felt I must encourage others wholeheartedly to purchase this engaging and challenging - without being inaccessible or overly complicated - narrative puzzle game. My advice - take your time with this game, and thoroughly enjoy the detail that the artists have penned into this blue-ink world. Let yourself fall into this game that requires thoughtful execution but encourages quiet, meditative relaxation. I would suggest this game for any age, young or not-so-young (such as myself), as it produces instantly enjoyable and exceedingly mesmerizing gameplay. I am justifiably eager and excited to play through the rest of this game to explore and discover all that this charming world has to offer, and I could not recommend this game highly enough to anyone and everyone.
