First let me say I love this app, I’ve made about 6 dishes from it in just a few weeks and I have recommended it to friends. I love how many vegetarian and plant based options there are, how quick to make so many of them are, and I love that you can set the serving size to however many people you have- I think I’ve reduced food waste because so many recipes are written for 4 or more people and this way I can really cook for 2. I also love the cooking seasonally concept for the environment and our health. The few fixes I would suggest: several recipes have had very poorly written instructions and I’ve had to look up similar recipes to make sure I’m on the right track. I also would love to be able to have more sort features by things like is this a main dish or a side. Additionally I like the grocery list idea but I wish you could take things off the list for if you already have that ingredient. Overall amazing, I’m excited to keep using it.
I was looking for an app to help me find out what produce is in season on a monthly basis and not only does it do that but it does so much more. I am gluten free and vegan and was pleased to find out I could set these dietary preferences and it displays recipes based on that. My doctor just put me on an AIP diet so it’s been challenging finding recipes on top of my already restrictive diet. I reached out to Kuri and they are looking into adding a Paleo option in the future. I love that I can easily add any recipe to a grocery list and it’s organized by aisle. I love that if you make a recipe they will plant a tree on your behalf. I love that you can track and reduce your carbon footprint by using this app. There’s just so much to love and I can’t wait to see all that’s to come. Plus, it’s really aesthetically pleasing to boot. I appreciate you guys!
Really awesome app, I love the variety of recipes and the ability to adjust for skill level and type of ingredients/cuisine. I would love the ability to save notes about the recipes (for instance, the eggplant curry I just made was much too heavy on the red pepper, to the point where all the other spices were overwhelmed, so it would be great if I could note that to myself in the future to reduce that ingredient.) I know it also came up on Reddit, but the ability to share the grocery lists and to add personal items would replace my need for a separate app. Not sure if that would be possible with the way the lists are populated, but it would be cool! Keep up the good work, it’s looking great. (This is the first review I’ve ever written but I was so stoked to find this that I had to comment and show my support!)
