My last review was deleted before I was able to submit it. I’m an audio engineer and producer and in my professional opinion you’re much better off syncing your song to what ever media or using a a real field microphone with a Hyper cardioid pattern this product as a really cool concept but until they work out the MANY BUGS I would not buy this it is simply a waste of money and time to try and get it to work in a pitch and by the time that the microphones start working the app 1/3 times will crash and the microphones will be stuck on record mode with no way to turn them off I’ve had to wait until one of the mics died to disconnect the other one… not sure if anyone else has had these problems but almost every time I’ve tried to film content with these mics something has hindered the creative process/actual filming a few times they deleted what I was recording MID RECORDING. It just stopped the video and the app crashed. Again it’s a really cool concept but is it worth spending over $200 absolute not. The audio quality is also worse than an sm57 which is $99 not over $200. Also you don’t have to pay a $100 subscription to store your data and gain accesses to the editing features.

This is a game changing product capable of turning any limited space into a working soundstage. I’m currently using one mic for live performances of a four piece ensemble and have been pleased enough with the results to consider adding more mics. The sound quality is as good as your performance, venue acoustics, and mic placement…and actually better than I would have expected! Please note that limitations of your iPhone’s memory can make large file transfers difficult as I have recently learned. As such, I will be upgrading my phone before embarking on a multitrack route. The App is generally good but like any relatively new product, is a work in process. They are actively working to improve the app and will take your feedback seriously, which is all you can ask for. I would like to see an option to download direct from cloud to computer for editing in a DAW or video editing software, which would bypass memory limitations in trying to offload the file to your system. Otherwise, this is a very promising product with a great company behind it.

I want to say upfront that I very much appreciate the overall Audigo concept as well as the form factor and audio quality/character of the microphone itself. I think for music applications it’s far and away the best potential all in one solution for audio/video capture. That being said I would agree with previous comments about the reliability issues and I also agree it would be ideal to be able to sync multiple audio files with their corresponding video files well after running a session or capturing a performance—that way you would not have to interrupt your creative process or be concerned about missing a moment because you were waiting for the wi/fi sync process to complete.The other feedback I have is that it would be really awesome to be able to use the full video capabilities of the iPhone 15 while using the Audigo app, or at the very least be able to shoot video in the highest available quality which is Apple ProRes (LOG). This would require the use of an external USB-C drive compatible with the new iPhone, which are of course now abundantly available. Most iPhone film enthusiasts seem to agree that Blackmagic’s ‘Camera’ app is the gold standard video app for unlocking the full functionality of the iPhone camera for filming purposes. I understand that implementing all of the features contained in an app specifically designed for film making within the Audigo app itself might be very challenging and potentially even confusing but having access to more granular camera controls/settings and being able to shoot in LOG would be incredibly useful for making high quality video content on the new iPhone.Thanks-
