I recommend JAMZONE to anyone looking for backing tracks, whether you are a Musician, Vocalist, Karaoke singer, STUDIO mixing student, or control freak 🤣. I use this program daily at home in my studio to practice my Bass, Keys, Percussion, and Vocals, removing whatever track I’m playing or singing to. Control of volumes and or muting features are great, in that you may have times whereby your needs or desires differ from song to song. The feature to mute everything when trying to listen to their studio instrument that you may play is just one of many features that helps you learn different ways of delivery. Backup singers are there for the solo artist as well as key change to accommodate your range. Being able to tweak all individual instruments is great whereby you can have your own instrument level above the rest to help you stand out in performing if desired. The many genres to choose from is sure to please all. I’ve been a member for a year now and plan on staying with this JAMZONE family. I’m 71 years old, been singing my entire life, and picked up the Bass 2-1/2 years ago. I know a great program when I see one … Many other features as well. Affordable and no contracts.

I am not a gigging musician. I use this app to play background and keep the beat while I sing and play guitar over it. It’s just a learning device for me. BUT A GREAT ONE. The ability to change keys and fade instruments in and out is a HUGE feature.
My complaint is that I have the original version that allowed me to purchase individual songs and now it is discontinued. Fortunately I bought many songs before they shut that business model down. I don’t need a huge library, but many times when I search the library for artists or songs I want to learn, they are not there. So it doesn’t make sense for me to subscribe and I thoroughly wish they would still let me buy what I want and download.
Maybe there aren’t a lot of folks who feel like me, but I suspect there are, and it’s a huge missed business opportunity not to have this option for the non-professional community.
Please reconsider JamZone !!

Jamzone is a cool app in concept, it allows you to only hear certain parts of a song along with that only certain instruments/vocals. Which don’t get me wrong is a useful and powerful tool. There’s a couple problems though. 1. Volumes are all over the place, without adjusting any settings, volume wise, you can open one song and have it be so quiet you can barely hear it even on a large speaker like I use. On the other hand, you could open a second song and have it be so loud you can’t hear anymore. Which is fine. It’s just sporadic and . I find myself adjusting the master volume slider constantly. 2. Not all of the songs seem to be in the original key or played the original way. I’ve mostly used different 80s rock songs and they’re all the songs they say they are, they also have a very large library. The issue is the songs aren’t always correct. other than that, the app is great it allows you to do a lot. They have an extensive library containing just about any song you could possibly think of, very good user interface, and for a relatively inexpensive price.
