Once you have it figured out, it works as expected. But getting there… with anything Unifi… is extremely aggravating and challenging. None of their engineers or product teams bother to think how the setup appears for a person not a career network tech. But I already knew this lol… and continue to buy their products despite the massive setup headaches.
Getting notifications every 5-10 seconds saying “Ubiquiti login request tap to view details” and when I tap the notification it asks me if I’m trying to sign in. I’ve gotten HUNDREDS of these notifications and they just won’t stop. I guess I’m going to have to turn off 2FA and delete this app just to stop them.
Wonderfully simple authenticator, easy to backup and share between iphone and mac desktop (thanks to the iPad app running on Mac). Very secure and reliabe, clean interface, and everything about it works. The only feature request I have it that when importing multiple versions of a backup file, like from different dates, that the app would automatically detect duplicates and either Not import them or Merge them into new entries etc. I wanted to update the backup on iPad app from a file generated on iPhone, and i had to go through and delete all of the old accounts after adding them all again from the more current backup.
