Magic 8 bit 8 ball

a magic 8-ball if it’s hungry. There’s no right answer, and the last thing you want to see is, “Better not tell you now.” I’ve lived with IRL M-8balls for decades, and have come to the conclusion that the same demon/sprite/Loki-monster inhabits most. After a series of unexpected answers with this one, we had a Little Talk. Apparently, this one is an entirely different demon - sort of a rogue/indie M8B doing its own thing. Which explains a lot. 😈 Love the widget (&seems kinder, somehow lol) HATE the ads. Seriously. I am torn between buying the app and deleting it…because the ad is so obnoxiously loud I was worried it would wake my roommate - who needs his beauty rest. I buy apps. I SUPPORT buying apps and paying the developer(s) for their time. But I am annoyed… because I’ve been playing with this app for not-very-many minutes— and (*unexpectedly/*alarmingly*) inflicted this CRAZY-LOUD ad on my household at least 4 times(?!) now… Not okay. Not deleting it yet, but still shopping…

This app is like crazy accurate! I’ve asked stuff about my personal life and it was correct! I’ve asked it about things that might happen in the near future and it was also correct! So it’s low key kinda psychic🤯🤯. But all y’all in the reviews asking this app about committing suicide and stuff please get help, there are cheap and even free alternatives to doctors, there are insta accounts that y’all can message for someone to talk too! Even suicide hotlines! If you think no one cares about you, I do!! Anyway this app is hella cool will definitely use if I can’t decide between chicken nuggets or a burger!! 💯

Update and edit: I still love this app and hope it never changes. 01FEB21 ———— When in the course of human events it comes time to ask questions, any questions, the old Magic 8 Ball was the “go too”. Now in the digital age and stuff and room is at a premium, it is great to have the same answers to life’s and the universe’s questions right on your iPhone’s home screen. I use this so often that I sometimes hear in low murmurs from people around me: “Hold on, he’s consulting the magic ball.” It has never steered me wrong, right or left and it is always right where I need it, on my phone, in my pocket, next to my heart. BUT, It will not be as accurate if you keep shaking it until you get the answer you want. The accuracy goes down below 50%. I live by the creed of one question, one shake and one answer! I can verify that if used correctly it is at 104% accuracy. This is so much better, exponentially better than flipping a coin and not as complicated as random numbers. Often I don’t have a coin and random numbers escape me most times. Lastly it is against the universal law to Rock-Paper-Scissors with yourself and it doesn’t really answer any questions, it only annoys on lookers and people know you are really crazy. That’s my story and I’m sticking to it!
