Started collecting Bourbon with two other buddies as a way to hedge the stock market around two years ago after reading an article on CNBC. After much due diligence from the three of us, we landed on unicorn auctions. We were very hesitant to take part in an auction as well as to ship dusty bottles of bourbon across the United States. Two years later, it has turned into what my wife calls “ a group text among teenage girls” on Sunday afternoons as the auctions end. All three of us are pilots and have gone into stores across the country as well as overseas, and it would be virtually impossible to find the selection that just one of the auctions offer. As for the packaging with deliveries, I would say as much like the inflatable balls that people get in and roll down large heels, very well packaged, and safe when it makes it to its destination. This app has brought us a ton of joy as we continue the Bourbon search!

You should put a warning label on it- Highly Addictive! May become habit forming! Seriously, though, I love the site, and I love the shipping. This is some of the best protected stuff I have ever seen shipped! There could be some better tweaks on the website, and finding your way through the auctions can be a small bother sometimes, but that just weeds out the folks I don’t want to compete with anyway! I have been able to find some amazing buys on here that I just can’t get locally and the next closest places are well over an hour drive from me. I can hardly wait until they expand their wine offerings, I am anxiously awaiting my first shipment as I write this review! And they also offer storage of your goodies, so you don’t have to ship them right away. Suggestions for the app: Allow a quick look at the item so that we don’t have to open the page- specifically I’d like to know about any conditions that the site feels should be mentioned with the quick look, or maybe use simple notes/symbols with a legend that can do a quick note the bottle is not perfect. This would prevent us from losing our spot in shopping when we go back to our page. A second suggestion maybe an exclude option, such as look for all bourbon but not “Four Roses” kind of thing. And my last suggestion is that I would LOVE to get the backstory on some of these items! If the seller has anything they could say about it, that would be awesome!
