So glad there is a “polyvore” type website again!!! That said, the app needs a ton of work… The ads are too intrusive in that they randomly take the whole screen or open your internet browser to go to their other ad. I’d rather pay a few bucks for the app than deal with the major interruptions. I never used the polyvore phone app, so I can’t compare, but this app is a bit clunky with navigation. Maybe it’s because the ads cover the navigation bar at the bottom, or maybe it’s because they are trying to cram the entire website into the app. I think it’d be better to simplify it to the social aspect and to creating sets. (Make it more like an IG interface) I also don’t see a clipper for the app…that’d be the first thing for people to need. Deleting the app for now, and I’ll stick with the website.

I love this app and use it all the time but there’s one thing that needs to be fixed because it is so frustrating that every few days I say I’ve had it with this app and want a divorce. Here’s what I’m talking about... Okay so let’s say you are scrolling through someone’s sets or their liked items or the long list of groups or a hashtag you’ve searched or literally ANYTHING else and something catches your eye and you click on it so you can see it. Maybe you like it or click to see the items used or whatever. Great. We’re good. Okay and now you want to go back to that long list of items, sets, groups, or whatever you were scrolling through and keep scrolling. Well you know what’s going to happen? You’re going to get screwed, that’s what! Because you’re not going to be taken back to the place you left off but all the way to the top of the list so you have to scroll ALLLLL THE WAY BACK DOWN and figure out where you were. THIS IS WHAT MAKES ME THROW MY PHONE. This horrific glitch has the very sad consequence of making me avoid clicking on anything unless I’m really, really certain I’m going to think it’s fantastic and that it will have items I’ll want to like because otherwise it’s not worth having to scroll ALLLL THE WAY BACK DOWN to find my place again. This is beyond frustrating. It honestly feels cruel and sadistic. PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD fix this feature. Not just for my sake, but for everyone’s. And that includes my phone’s.

I’m loving the fact that there’s now an app for urstyle!! I used to use the polyvore app and I needed an alternative once they shut down. Urstyle is fun and ADDICTIVE! Now I can design while waiting for the kids at the bus stop, or in bed at night, or wherever! It was awful when the only workable version was my PC. I’m super happy that I can upload my own items from the app, but it seems a bit unfair to urstyle. I’d like to have a “clipper” so they can at least make some commission on the items, and people seeing my designs would be able to buy the items if they like them. Right now I can only upload and not clip. One other thing: it’d be super helpful to have a “back” button. When I view someone’s design, or a product, I’m stuck in it and have to start all over again by touching the top logo. Then I have to re-find the person or brand (by memory, which I forget a lot.) pleeeeease add a back button. I’d take that over a clipper! Otherwise, fantastic app! ❤️
