It’s a pretty great game, first of all. Would highly recommend! It’s very pleasant and relaxing, the music and the art is beautiful, and it’s definitely addictive to play. Unfortunately, that’s where my only complaint lies. I love this game, but I think that you should be able to quit the game with your score saved, instead of having to have your light burn out. I’d been playing for a while. My first score in the game was 77 days, and I thought, “I can do way better than that!” So I played until I had 1076 days logged. Then I waited, and quit to the main menu so that my score could be 1077. It would have been so satisfying; but my score is still 77! It’s not a huge problem, it’s really just an annoyance, especially to more competitive people. (That’s why I’m still rating it 5 stars.) It would still be nice to be able to quit and get your high score, though. Other than this? Amazing game, top notch. It’s one of the only games I actually spent money on, and that was partly because it was so cheap, which I greatly appreciate because not many people have a lot of money to spend on game upgrades. It is so peaceful and beautiful. Great job on this app, I will be keeping it installed and looking forward to updates.

The first thing I noticed, and I’m sure most people will notice about this game, is the music. It is really beautiful and relaxing. There are several songs throughout the game while playing, which keeps it from being too repetitive. The scenery changes with the song too! This game helps me sleep at night when I’m struggling with anxiety. The art and animations in the game are as equally beautiful and provide a very smooth experience. I haven’t experienced any lag or anything while playing (and I play for an hour sometimes heh). To unlock Zen mode and the other story, it costs 99 cents. While this isn’t necessary to enjoy the game, it is a very low price for a game that is so beautiful. Admittedly, I was surprised at how cheap it was. I can tell you zen mode is very fun. I used it to really take in all the tiny animations and details of the game. I didn’t notice that the stars are triangles before. Very cute! I enjoyed the second stage of the game even more than the first. The art style really is so amazing. I wish I could give constructive feedback for the game, but I got nothing . I can tell time and care went into this game which, as an artist, I really love and appreciate about it. The little trees and flowers are so cute and it’s satisfying to watch them grow. This is one of my favorite games I’ve played on iOS. I was happy to unlock zen mode and watch the world bloom. (Sorry for the wordy review)

Those 30 minutes are wonderful though. Even though there’s no dialogue or even characters, I find myself assigning these qualities so the orbs. My heart genuinely breaks when my pink orb saves my life at the cost of it’s own. I feel like I’m on a quest meeting friends along the way, it’s a wonderful experience, and I highly recommend you download it. The gameplay is actually quite simple, but pretty good nonetheless. As you go on, you encounter harder arrangements of orbs, providing a nice sense of flow... or at least until you get less than a year in. At this point you’ve seen all the orbs, all the mechanics, all the formations, and once you master them all, the game... gets a little stale. At this point I take a break for a week or so, and come back for another 5 minutes, and this is fine, but this game could be so good if it just had more... you really just need to add one more thing to the game. Be it black orbs you shouldn’t touch, different landscapes, just something else other than yellow orbs and you would have 10x more possible formations, with these formations being more distinct. As the game is now, the formations have to be relatively easy, as you have very simple movement with a very simple goal. The most it can do is have orbs that are hard to predict that require decent timing to catch all of, but eventually you can predict it, and if it’s too unpredictable it stops being fun. Timing mustn’t be too hard or the game becomes tedious and rage inducing. If you add just one more thing to add to the gameplay, it would be so much better. Note: pink and white orbs are essentially your ability to fail, they don’t add anything to the formations or depth. Blue orbs just make everything easier, so they don’t do much either. Good game, needs more content.
