The entire medical system is broken in the US and personal fitness tracker apps linked to insurers are just another symptom of the problem. Why must companies collude with medical carriers just to get fractional discounts for the insured and in turn the participants give up personal information as a bonus to the medical Insurance industry? It’s so they can make even more money on top of the already exorbitant cost of medical care. Wellness apps do not make people healthier and waste a lot of the users time by having to use it every day. I tried opting in with the bare minimum required just to get the slight reduction in insurance cost and then uninstalled the app after checking that I had done so, only to find out later in the year that I had completed none of the so-called “completed challenges”. What a scam and personal information grab this program is. Shame on the companies that use them. Shouldn’t HIPAA preclude the sharing of any health data tied to medical insurance plan participation?

It he splash screen says the the mission of Wellness coach is to inspire 5 billion ppl. That message itself gave me a jolt of inspiration. I can be part of that mission I can help myself be happy and help Welness coach achieve is objective. The coaches and webinars are amazingly curated. How one experiences may wary. I enjoy the timings of the webinars as the usually coincide with the l sllu chbreak or or break fast or evening tea. The 20 minute sessions is such a cool innovation. It is long enough to leave a mate but not too long that we are overwhelmed or the session encroaches in other importment commitments of the day. Thank you to the crew who create and operate this amazing wellness mission.

A colleague encouraged me to download this app which was offered through our company. We had been discussing the difficulties of quarantine and she shared that she had been doing the morning meditations and it was really helping her get up and starting the on a positive note. I have been joining her for those 6:30 am sessions for a couple of weeks now and I love it! The coaches are so engaging that it feels very personal. The various classes throughout the day provide a reminder to breathe and apply some self care not to mention a much needed connection during these isolating times. Plus, when I wake up in the middle of the night the guided sleep sessions knock me right out! I’m thrilled that my company has introduced this resource and have shared it with several friends and family already. Thank you to all of the great coaches and leaders of Wellness Coach!
