This game is a blast to play. I have played others that are similar, but they are too ungiving when it comes to the players needs. The games have to make some REAL MONEY to keep going, & thatโs a fact; but to overcharge for all the needed items is ridiculous. This game is definitely more generous with giving out needed equipment rewards. There is, however, a big difference within the game as far as giving Dragon Coin (gold) rewards & Dragon Coin (gold) prices charged for what players need. The gold for rewards is eked out a little at a time, whereas the gold charged for what is needed is about 10 times what is given for rewards. That is the main thing that blocks building up the heroes & needs to be greatly adjusted. When that is fixed, Iโll raise my star rating.
Iโve been playing this game for about two months now, and I have to say Iโve been really enjoying it. I was looking for a mobile game that I could play in short bursts multiple times a day and this one really fits the bill. Let me start off by saying that some of the other reviews are right, it is a shameless ripoff of Idle Heroes in almost every way, but I donโt care. On the other hand, some of the other reviews are wrong, you donโt need to spend money to get above a five star character, it just takes time. If you want to spend money itโll obviously be faster like any other mobile game. To date, Iโve spent $30 to get VIP 3 status but at that time I already had one six star character and several five star. Overall I do enjoy it, it seems like the developers update it frequently which I like. There have been several server outages which the developer made good on by providing free gems to everybody affected. The only things I donโt like our some poor English translation and the canned responses to reviews depending on whether theyโre good or bad. Still 5 stars.
OK so I finally feel like I have enough time in the game to give a complete review on it. Overall this is a pretty good game whether youโre the pay to win type or casual player. I donโt think itโs fair for me to call this game A pay to win necessarily, but it does kind of flirt with that line in some cases. Itโs more of a pay to advance quickly type of game. But that doesnโt at all mean that you canโt progress in this game without spending any money. There are about four different activities you can do in the game that earn you different currency, which can be used to purchase 5* heroes. Once you get enough of the same five star hero you can fuse it into a 6* and continue moving up in rank from there. Now while there are in game purchases that speed up this process tremendously, itโs still achievable by simply playing the game, just gonna take longer. And since it is an idle, your team continues to earn money and materials even when youโre not playing. The biggest gripe I have right now is I donโt personally feel like the events last long enough to where you can obtain a limited time hero without spending money. Iโm not saying that I believe you should be able to earn all of the 6 to 7 limited time event heroes without spending money; however I do feel that you should be able to obtain at least one of them just through in game action without having to spend money. So it would be nice to see the next event last a little bit longer or reward you with more material needed to obtain one of the heroes.
