Fairway Mobile Checkout

I so wanted this to be a great experience and it almost was...set up was pretty easy, scanning items worked without a hitch, no trouble finding the well-marked mobile checkout area, scanned the checkout QR, the exit was just a few steps away when the app informed me that someone would be there quickly to ID me. #fail. Waited. Watched people who I recognized from the back of the long checkout lines stream past. Waited some more. App still spinning. You get the picture. Either lose the visual ID requirement or staff it. Customer service was too busy sorting out delivery issues.

I loved Fairway when it came to my neighborhood. So did everyone else and checkout became a crowded nightmare, and I had to stop going. With this, I am in and out so quickly it is beyond my expectations. This app does all it needs to do, and does it well so please don’t mess with it much and start adding stuff that isn’t needed. Literally the only thing I wish it had were the ability to use Apple Pay, which I try to use and prefer everywhere possible due to the fraud protection it provides. So give us that and you have the perfect app!

So easy to use! Just scan your item when you put it in your cart. You pre load your credit card and it just charges your card for whatever you buy. Never wait in line again. Makes shopping at fairway sooo much easier. Literally cuts shopping time in half.
