- not all of the signs in the museum worked. I tried with many angles and some just don’t scan. - everytime I closed the app or locked my phone I had to re-submit my email. - camera button was weirdly laggy sometimes
This is a pretty bare bones app, but it does the job more or less. However, the video camera mode records video but doesn’t record audio. Also, the front facing camera can’t be used (which is super odd since the museum is literally made for selfie ops) and while the app worked well on my iPad Mini 5, my wife’s iPhone 7 had trouble always recognizing the markers and videos were choppy. Also, the app really needs a way to save photos and videos directly to your camera roll automatically and not make you save them every time.
- The app requires an email address. Every time during the tour I unlocked the phone and reopened the app, I had to re-submit it. - I couldn't find any auto-save option for pictures: every time I took one, I had to stop and take the time to explicitly specify to save it through the user interface, and then to press the "back" link in order to go back to camera mode so I could take the next one.
