The experience here is pretty awful. I redownloaded the app after being directed by a nurse via telephone Teleconsulta. The good: I reached a doctor within minutes, she gave me a prescription for labs and antibiotics. The bad: I paid 100% for the appointment with ny credit card despite having entered my insurance information. Isn’t this an Insurance app? Then why am I paying out of pocket for my visit? The ugly: I was prescribed antibiotics within a 3 minute visit but the doctor didn’t have labs to confirm her diagnosis. I got my labs results yesterday a few hours later (2:30pm) and the doctor never responded any of my messages to read me the lab results, nor did they confirm their initial diagnosis, nor did they discuss with me bed rest, or provide me with a medical certificate after my message request. 24 hours later and they’re offline and not answering. I had to use Google to interpret my lab results and begin taking the antibiotics. I’m awaiting a refund from the app’s backend provider. And they’re flabbergasted as to why the app charged me for the full visit when my insurance was fully entered. Triple s, do better!
I am so happy to know that this actually worked. It is my first time using TeleConsult and I was very scared. I wasn’t sure it was going to work because here in Puerto Rico nothing ever hardly works and Doctors don’t seem to care much. Sorry, but this is my personal opinion based on my personal experiences. Dr. Wanda Hernandez understood immediately and took care of the problem. Thank You so much for this TeleConsulta App.
Waited almost an hour; never got a call back. A month later my wife made an appointment, waited an hour and a half, called tech support, they said she didn’t have an appointment even though we were clearly in “the waiting room” with the Dr’s picture and all the fun facts on loop, customer service made her another appointment, after 10 min it kicked her out. SUGGESTIONS: 1) if you can’t deliver on appointments, don’t make them, just have the Dr call us. 2) After waiting for 10 minutes, have a button “Call me back,” 3) give a warning, and ultimately kick-out, doctors that make patients wait way too long
