I downloaded this app yesterday and thought of a good idea where you go on to a map and click a bubble that gives you a map and directions to the treasure chest where people can put whatever they want in it. But not in real life like a text or a message that shows up when you find it.

My daughters (ages 4 and 6) love playing this with me. It is a simple augmented reality game where one person buries a treasure somewhere and another tries to find and dig it up. It does have some trouble on repetitive, uninteresting floors, such as my imitation tile and my offwhite carpet. We deal with that by burying the treasure under small toys strewn about the house. This helps the children to conceptualize the location better as well. I do wish that it has an easy mode, wherein the red X would be visible on the floor when the children are looking for it. That way, even younger children could enjoy it. Either way, this is a wonderful family game.

This game seems really cool. What a cool simple idea proceeding the recent craze of AR games. Hide and seek treasure. I can’t give a good review other than I’m sure the game works for someone because I can’t get the game to work. I gave it four stars so that it would rename a good rated game for those it works for but I can’t get the game to work. I press start and the game goes to the first screen through the camera but allows nothing more. The shovel button stay inactive ad the parrot continues to pop up saying explore your surroundings. I can’t select to hide the treasure. I can’t go any further with the game. I’m sure the game is really cool for a quick fun game of hide and seek, however I don’t know what to do. I tried to redownload it and it still does the same thing. Cool game concept.
