Can’t track enough things

I love the idea of this app but there’s some limitations that make it VERY frustrating to use. I’d like to suggest a few changes to the developers. First, please let us track more than one product per session. Two, please let us select as many symptoms that we’re trying to treat as we like. Limiting it to 3 is unrealistic. My third suggestion is the same as two, but when it comes to the check ins at the end of the session. This new update only lets you select three additional symptoms you feel afterward and before you could click as many as you like. If I experience 4-6 side effects of taking a certain product, I want to document that. Why limit the amount of information we track?? Until these features get implemented I’m going to try and find a different app to use, just because it’s important for my health that I get more detailed with documenting my reactions, etc. Hopefully they fix some of the more frustrating things because I do like the layout of the app and the concept.

I love this app! A must have for mmj users!

So I never write reviews but I felt like I needed to for this app because the score is much too low. As of today I have now received 2 items from strainprint, and I have used the app off and on for about 5 months. The app was glitchy for me for a little bit, but it seems to be back to normal now and I have had no problems within the last month. I received both my rolling tray and my grinder less than a week after ordering them, and they shipped very discreetly. I didn’t have to pay for shipping or a membership fee or anything! It’s seriously free! You just track your cannabis usage and you get free stuff. It’s seriously the coolest thing and I’ve told a lot of people about it! I hope to continue to use strainprint and encourage others to do the same!

Promising Medical Cannabis Journal

I’ve been using this app as a medical cannabis dosing journal of sorts since it first came out. I really find it beneficial in terms of keeping track of what strains work best to manage my various symptoms. As is, it’s geared specifically for the Canadian market, targeted to medical cannabis patients (under ACMPR) registered with LPs—although there is the option to add tailored information concerning strains not listed in the database (I.e., product sourced from dispensaries). One can specify the method administered, the strain used, and the dosage in grams. The list of ailments and symptoms grows as the number of users recording their sessions grows. (The trick is to remember to log your sessions!) The one thing lacking here is a bit educational information or guidance, especially as Health Canada and clinics generally offer very little. Although they offer the “Explore” tab, which directs the user to the pull down menu of symptoms, this only lists the top three strains according to their rather limited database of users. Then again, I do sympathize with the developers’ challenges of building something based solely on user feedback and the sketchy details on product provided by LPs. Here’s where information concerning the full listing of lab tested cannabinoids and terpenes would be of absolute value. Hopefully this information will be added to the platform as the audience of medical cannabis patients logging dosing sessions grows. Still, so far, so great! Oh, and Strainprint does offer incentives in terms of points to redeem for coupons with LPs, StrainPrint merch, and quality grinders and vapes—so, there’s that going this app, too!
