I found this app to be an awesome tool for staying consistent with my workouts and discovering new routines. I love that it offers a wide range of workouts and how everything is neatly categorized in the app. One of the things I really liked was how easy it was to navigate as a new user. The layout is user friendly, and the workouts are well organized by type, duration, equipment, and difficulty, which I love. I also appreciated the clear video demonstrations and step by step instructions, which help ensure proper form during exercises. The built in timer on each video is another great feature that helps keep me on track. I absolutely love that this app remains incredibly useful even for athletes who don’t want to pay for a monthly subscription. There was one time when I got logged out of the app, but since I remembered my password, it wasn’t a big deal. In the future, I’d love to see the addition of a full calendar feature on top of the list of workouts each day, a monthly overview that shows which workouts I completed on each day. That would make tracking progress even easier. In the end, I would 100% recommend this app. It’s a great training tool for both beginners and more advanced users who want structure, variety, and accessibility in their workouts.
The library of individual exercises is the main reason why I switched. Not only does it incorporate strengths, but stretches and that was key. This application seems to constantly update, taking into consideration the improvements that can be made. If I had any suggestions it would be to continue to update the individual exercise library. Allow for two different timers, one for after a set is done and another when the exercise as a whole is done. As I continue to use this application more I’ll come back and give more suggestions. *Update* As I dive deeper into using this application I have a few more suggestions that I’ve noticed would make a huge difference. The ability to search your progress when already starting a workout. I find myself often times wondering what my last weight was in previous gym sessions, unfortunately once you start a workout you lose the ability to do anything else in the application. Which brings me to a similar issue, when creating two different workouts that may carry the same exercise the progress doesn’t display for both. Somehow making progress and stats a little more on the forefront and available during workouts would be of tremendous help.
I absolutely love this app. I use it for every workout and have since the app started a couple months back. I love the video tutorials, workout library, ability to add exercises, along with all the other amazing features. I think where this app could be improved is in the social aspect as well as the tracking progress. I wish there was an ability to add friends through the app, so then you have the flexibility to share and send workouts to friends to challenge them to your workouts. There is a feature currently similar, but you can't share your workout with the reps and weights you hit without taking a bunch of screenshots. It would nice just to simply share to your gym buddies via the app. It would also be cool to have a graph of progress made over time by different exercises. Currently it only promotes max in 3 major lifts (squat bench and deadlift) having a more comprehensive and detailed list would motivate gym goers even more! Love the app and can't wait to see all the improvements through the future
